What it's about: Reliable monitoring of airborne microbial contamination is crucial to ensuring GMP-compliant cleanroom environments in pharmaceutical production. Our experience as a manufacturer of airborne microbial samplers shows that the standard validation of portable devices according to ISO 14698/EN 17141 does not cover all practical requirements. We have therefore developed an extended validation concept based on the specifications for alternative microbiological methods (AMM). Using the example of the newly launched MAS-100 Sirius, we were able to demonstrate together with F. Hoffmann-La Roche that this concept can be successfully implemented in practice.
Our speaker, Corina Keller, Product Manager at MBV AG, holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Zurich and an MBA from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. She has many years of experience in product management and specialises in translating customer needs into targeted portfolio strategies. Working in interdisciplinary teams, she develops practical and effective solutions for microbiological air monitoring in pharmaceutical cleanrooms.
